This holiday season, Reason To Give is adding a ton of new features to our website, making giving even easier. On top of the improved functionality, we've made an even greater commitment to our community by ensuring our purchases are as sustainable as possible.
While we've always been considerate of how we source the goods we give, Reason To Give now pledges every item you purchase for a participant will be sourced from a respectable retailer who gives back to society. Whenever possible, we'll buy items from retailers in Humboldt Park or the greater Chicagoland area. Reason to Give will work only with businesses located in the US or who are Fair Trade certified and who donate a portion of their profits to charity.
Finally, we're giving special purchasing preference to eco-friendly companies. So now when you buy an item for a Reason to Give participant you'll be: strengthening Chicago communities, sustainably assisting underserved families and individuals, preserving the cultural heritage of Humboldt Park and supporting progressive companies that care.
